News From City Hall
A Message from Chino Hills City Council member, Ed Graham. The past four weeks have been a whirlwind of activity at the Graham Casa. Married son Kyle (26) started the process of shopping for a first home, son Jarad (24) broke his tibia and fibula playing soccer so has been in a wheelchair or crutches 24/7, son Brett (22) came home from Baghdad for a leave and has since returned to Iraq, and me... We finished our conversation about politics and after a while he told me that he's been a long time ambassador for Toastmasters International and invited me to their next meeting.

Fall Tumble Weed Abatement Program
The Chino Valley Fire District recently announced the program to prevent wild fires. Annually, destructive wild land fires endanger the lives and property of California residents who live in the urban-wild land interface areas. Additionally, yards and vacant lots not properly cleared of combustible vegetation can threaten nearby homes and property within the community and steal precious Fire Department resources from other emergencies. This creates an even greater potential for a very dangerous fire season this year...
