Chino Hills Road Racers Participate in the Powder Puff Challenge
Will raise funds for breast cancer research. The PowderPuff race is a benefit race for breast cancer. It's taking place on October 11th in Barstow, Ca. Chino Hills resident and off-road racer, John Alagna (Yep, that's my son) is offering the use of his off road race truck to the Powder Puff Race to benefit breast cancer research. John, stated, "We want to get everybody involved. Ask family, friends if they'd like to help out for the race, and of course, we would love for you all to be out there cheering the girls on. Hair Stylists Cut for A Women's Care Center
On September 28th, "A Women's Care Center" held Locks for Life where volunteers including some of the finest hairdressers in the area gave hair cuts and styles, free of charge. Chino Valley Chamber Holds Business Expo
The Chino Hills Business Expo was held on Saturday, October 4th at the Chino Hills Marketplace by the Sport Chalet. The Chamber held a VIP reception on Friday night and welcomed vendors and special guests including the entire Chino Hills city council with food from many of the best restaurants in town. Chino Hills Republican Headquarters Opens
Rally is planned for Wednesday. Local residents Jacqueline Demongin and Sarah Evinger have known each other since they were kids. Along with Cherie Wood they are working together to help elect John McCain and Sarah Palin. Last week the three Chino Hills residents teamed up and opened the Chino Hills Republican Headquarters at 16408 Pipeline Avenue in the Chino Hills Plaza.
