The City of Chino Hills 18th Annual Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Picnic will be held on Sunday, July 4th at Big League Dreams Chino Hills Sports Park, 16333 Fairfield Ranch Road.

Decorate your wagons, trikes, or wheelbarrows and line up at 10:30 a.m. at the front gate of Big League Dreams for the 2010 Family Wagon Parade which will kick-off the Old- Fashioned Fourth of July Picnic at 11:00 a.m. The opening ceremony will feature a flag salute and Independence Day comments from area elected officials.

The event continues until 3:00 p.m. Bring your own picnic blanket and chairs to create a "home base" as your family and friends enjoy the many free activities including food-eating contests, picnic games, face painting, and arts and craft projects. Fun inflatables, BMX stunt shows, a bungee trampoline, a rock climbing wall, water slides and more will also be free to enjoy. The surf band "Woodie and The Longboards" will be performing live music on the Main Stage.

The water tender truck from the Chino Valley Independent Fire District will cool off the crowd gathered at nearby Fairfield Ranch Park for the traditional "water cannon blow out" at approximately 1:30 p.m. (as long as the water tender truck is available).
