The Inland Empire Running Club of Chino Hills offers marathon training for the 2011 City of Los Angeles Marathon

The Inland Empire Running Club (IERC) will kick-off its 26-week Los Angeles Marathon training at the group's training location in Butterfield Park in Chino Hills at 7 A.M., Saturday, September 11, 2010.

The club was selected for the 3rd consecutive year as one of 2 official training locations for the City of Los Angeles Marathon set for March 20, 2011. During this training period the group will be training under the name Roadrunners/Inland Empire. The nationally acclaimed Roadrunners Training Program has a phenomenal race day finisher's rate of 99%. The training offers both veterans and novices a chance to connect with fellow athletes, train with a pace group and receive expert tips on nutrition and technique.

Centrally located in the Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Orange County boundaries, the club attracts runners and walkers from a vast geographic area. Many of its members come from Riverside County, San Gabriel Valley, eastern LA County, Orange County and the High Desert communities of Hesperia and Victorville.

The group offers everyone who has a dream to cross a marathon finish line an opportunity to make it a reality.
