CHINO HILLS - It wasn't their Division I point guard or their 6-foot-7 senior who seized control in the fourth quarter, but two of the Chino Hills High School boys basketball team's 5-foot-10 role players who brought the Huskies back from a late five-point deficit against the No. 3 team in CIF-SS Division II-A.
Michael Rodriguez and Erik Ligans scored all but the final three points of the fourth quarter in Division I-A No. 2 Chino Hills' 53-46 victory on Friday over Sierra League foe Damien, giving the three-time defending league champion the early edge in the league race.
