LA MIRADA - It was just a little more than a week ago when the La Habra High School boys soccer team found itself in a scoring slump, but coach Steve Aanderud refers to the end of the regular season as "ancient history."

And why not?

His Highlanders (15-5-6), the Daily News' No. 3-ranked team, have found their scoring touch. They found it just in time to beat visiting Chino Hills 2-0 in Wednesday's CIF-Southern Section Division II second-round playoff match at La Mirada High.
