Yogurt obsession brings in new trend for warmer season.

As this growing craze takes over many Chino Hills residents, profits continue to build up for producers. With the newest yogurt trend sweeping the city, families and teenagers are discovering a new afternoon dessert getaway. Self-serve yogurt parlors have opened just in time for the spring and summer seasons, and many Chino Hills residents are taking advantage. In locations such as Joghurt and Yogurt Bar, visitors take a disposable container and serve themselves a helping of this chilled dessert, accessorized with toppings ranging from fruits to chocolate chips to cookie pieces.

Frozen yogurt has become the healthier alternative to ice cream, and allows a wider range of selections. Many are even are going to great lengths to find the "best yogurt," and comparing it to other yogurt locations such as Pink Berry and Yogurtland. With this healthier choice, yogurt-lovers are choosing a soft-served treat, not only for taste, but also for the biological benefits. Studies show that yogurt may help to improve the digestive system, help clear acne, lower high blood pressure, and provide substantial amounts of protein. It sounds like yogurt may be the natural cure for many health issues, (just as long as there is more yogurt than cookie toppings) but it is actually an age-old beneficiary. Because of the active live cultures in the yogurt, it carries "good bacteria" to prevent "bad bacteria," such as infections and diseases, from growing.

Since yogurt is primarily made of cultured cream or milk and a reduced level of lactose, it is a safe alternative for those who are lactose intolerant. So with the weather heating up and yogurt locations spreading, it does not come to any surprise that this delicious bacterium is winning so many hearts.
