Officials aim to elevate the airport's stature to that of a "theme-branded destination

Chino Airport seeks to make nice with neighboring communities

San Bernardino County leaders hope plans to expand Chino Airport will fly with Eastvale residents at Tuesday's Town Hall meeting.

The goal is to discuss how best to improve the publicly owned airport, which serves private, business and corporate customers.

The airport, at 7000 Merrill Ave., is several miles northwest of Eastvale, an unincorporated community in northwest Riverside County.
