With a growing population and a growing police department, the city is eyeing the 102,000-square-foot Home Depot on Walnut Avenue as a replacement for its aging police headquarters at the downtown civic center. City officials have authorized the beginning of engineering work to convert the Home Depot building at 5450 Walnut Ave. into the city's new police station. (Source: DailyBulletin.com)
