The Callaway Junior World Championship
Sahith Theegala, a 10-year-old from Chino Hills, had just won his third Callaway Junior World Championship, and his father, Muralidhar, tried to explain his son's remarkable success. Almost impossible.
"I guess he's just a natural," the father finally said. "He watched golf on television when he was about 3, and he just naturally picked up the pros' swing."
Rick Hunter, Sahith's teaching pro at the El Prado range, also shakes his head, and the veteran pro also is at a loss for words.
