Our own Chino Community Theatre is competing for our votes to become the best Theatre Group in a 'MyFoxLA Hotlist" contest. So far there are 43 theatre groups listed. We encourage Chino and Chino Hills residents to vote for them.
Chino Community Theatre is a non-profit organization formed to broaden cultural opportunities within and for the community with an emphasis on the theatrical setting, and to offer the community an opportunity to experience quality theatre productions. The Chino Community Children's Theatre, also a non-profit organization run by volunteers, provides an opportunity for the children in the community and their families to become involved in the theatre arts. Their goal is to educate and entertain in an environment of mutual respect for all ages and abilities.
2009 will mark the twenty-fifth anniversary for both the Chino Community Theatre and Chino Community Children's Theatre. Plans are underway to bring back some of their finest shows from the past twenty-five years, and each group will host a gala celebration during the season.
