SAN BERNARDINO - A.J. Johnson rushed for 183 yards and Ryan Verdugo threw three touchdown passes to lead Chino Hills in a workmanlike 42-20 win over San Gorgonio on the road on Friday. Verdugo led Chino Hills (4-0) in two early 64-yard scoring drives culminating with a 10-yard touchdown pass to Adrian Ruelas, followed by Johnson's three-yard score, giving the Huskies a 14-0 lead at 9:50 of the second quarter.

Verdugo found Ruelas again on a 22-yard touchdown pass to increase the Huskies' margin to 28-7 early in the third quarter. Verdugo ran in from two yards out to make it 35-7 and Johnson followed with his second scoring run, this from 16-yards to make it 42-7 with 1:23 left in the third quarter.
