CIF Division 1AA Matchup Highlights
The Chino Hills Huskies defeated the Leuzinger Olympians in a CIF Div 1AA matchup by the score of 71-62.
The Huskies (22-6) were led by AJ Hecox who had 24 points and helped his team move on to the 2nd round where they will face Etiwanda.
Leuzinger (17-10) was led by Eric Childress who had 26 pts in the losing effort.

CHINO HILLS -- The barrage kept coming and, rather than call time outs, Chino Hills coach Steve Baik kept his hands at his hips. The large lead had evaporated, the momentum gone.
Fortunately, Baik had AJ Hecox.

The Etiwanda High School hoop men made their point loud and clear -- they intend to battle for the CIF championship.
The Eagles clobbered Chino Hills, 86-54, in the second round of the 1AA playoffs on Friday night and will advance into the quarterfinals on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at Valencia.
