When the new 28,000-square-foot station opens to the public Aug. 18, it will offer more efficient lobby service for residents, more operation space for deputies and detectives, and secured interview rooms for suspects, said San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Sgt. William Hunt.
Sheriff's deputies, who act as the city's police force, will move operations from temporary buildings near the McCoy Equestrian Center to the new station down the street at 14077 Peyton Drive over the weekend of Aug. 16.
