Looking for volunteers and donations

On, Thanksgiving Day, November 27th, the Chino United Methodist Church, located at 5201 Riverside Dr. in Chino, invites the community to enjoy a full Thanksgiving meal between 12:00 noon and 5 pm. All food and beverages will be provided free of charge and clothing will be available for those in need. Everyone who is interested is encouraged to attend at anytime during the serving hours.

Those who are interested in volunteering to serve in some capacity at this event and/or would like to donate items may contact Steve or Cori Cuadras at (909) 591-5807or youth@chinoumc.org. Or, they may visit the church office during operating hours of 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM to drop off donations.

Also, if any area businesses would like to assist in any way, owners and/or managers are encouraged to contact Steve or Cori Cuadras.

Items that this event is in need of are: cooked and carved turkeys, canned mixed vegetables, canned fruit, baked pies and cookies, stuffing mix, rolls, butter, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, juice/punch, bottled water, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, sugar, whipped cream, new and gently used clothing (new socks and undergarments), personal hygiene items, Bibles, paper goods- coffee cups, plates, napkins, paper towels, plastic utensils.
