CHINO - Feelings within the community are still forming over the school district's plan to hold four separate high school graduations at a large new sports venue in Ontario.

Chino Valley Unified School District high school graduations will be held at the Citizens Business Bank Arena.

Officials said the district's deal with the arena would save money compared to holding the ceremonies at the high schools. Officials also look forward to the high-tech audio-visual equipment, and a larger space.

Spokeswoman Julie Gobin said the $51,000 cost will be divided by the four schools and the district. The cost for each school is now $10,200.

Last year, the graduations cost the schools and district nearly $116,000.
