Gwenn Norton-Perry and Art Bennett Are Sworn In
Art Bennett to join the council

CHINO HILLS - After more than a decade of helping shape the growth of the city, Art Bennett is eager to join the City Council.

Bennett will be sworn in to council Tuesday following the departure of former Mayor Curt Hagman to the Assembly.

"I'm absolutely thrilled," Bennett said. "I can't wait to get sworn in on Tuesday. There are still things that need to be taken care of in this city."

Bennett said the earlier city experience has prepared him for the new role.

In 1993-1994, Bennett took part in the General Plan Advisory Commission that considered zoning in Chino Hills. Immediately after, Bennett joined the Planning Commission where he has served
