The Los Serranos Country Club will sponsor "Cyn's City Showcase", an event designed to help local businesses and non-profits showcase and promote their offers. The event is being promoted by Cyn in the City's, Cynthia Moran and ChinoHills.com who have been co-promoting Cyn in the City Nights throughout the Chino and Chino Hills communities since March 2009.
Cyn in the City Nights are for women of all ages (over 21), moms, and wives (but not for kids) according to "Cyn" who organizes the events. The events are designed to give busy women a chance to take a night out and spend it with other women and gal friends.
"Today, many women balance work with family and it's a welcome break." according to Mrs. Moran. "There are no day's off when it comes to caring for a family so this is a chance for them to unwind a bit."
These events have several exciting aspects to them during these troubling economic times. A very popular aspect of the events is the networking that happens. At a typical Cyn in the City Night, anywhere from 60 to 120 women will sign in. A table is always provided where they can share their business cards, events, and other interests with each other. This not only helps hundreds of local small and home based businesses but it also provides a venue for non profits to share their needs and to promote their causes.
In addition to that, the sponsor generally a salon, restaurant, or retail establishment, gets to show off their business to hundreds of new potential customers. Cyn in the City Nights have been held at The Wine Down Winery, Brighton Collectibles, Pappachino's, Johnny Rockets, Curt Hagman's Office, Owen's Bistro, The Frame Salon, and at Felipe's Mexican Grille. Generally there is one event per month paid for and sponsored by a local business. These are businesses are then considered "In With Cyn" and they get a mention on her web site at www.chinohills.com/cyninthecity. Cyn will only promote businesses that she personally recommends.
Cyn's City Showcase will compound these benefits by providing an entire table at the Showcase Event for each vendor at only $40.00 per table ($25.00 for non-profits). There will be a limit of 50 tables and only one table allowed per business. In other words, there can be several make up sellers, but only one Avon, etc.; first come, first serve.
The promoters will be reaching out to women from across the Chino / Chino Hills areas to make it a success and are asking the businesses who plan to sell items at the event to provide a gift for the attendees and for raffles.
