Calvary Chapel will be holding its annual Family Fest on Halloween, October 31. The event is free and open to the general public. The event includes games, music, a skate demo, inflatables, food, fun, and of course, lots of candy.
Calvary Chapel Chino Hills' Annual Family Fest began over 16 years ago as a safe alternative to Halloween for the children of the church, then only 60 people. At that time, they set up bible-themed games in classrooms where children would receive a few pieces of candy as they went from room to room. As the church grew, so did Family Fest.
Each passing year another game or special feature was added to this fun fall evening. And now, the church has opened it up to family, friends, neighbors and the local community. What began as a small church gathering has evolved into a huge annual community event that so many look forward to enjoying with their family year after year.
There is a petting zoo, pony rides, large inflatable games, obstacle courses and even a snow slide! The church welcomes the public to enjoy this festive event and make memories with their families.
