Event to be held at the James S. Thalman Chino Hills branch

For the very first time, the largest Filipino library in the country will share Filipino children's books to families in San Bernardino County. Through its Children's Reading Program, the Filipino American Library (FAL) will have an event on Saturday, October 25 at 2:00-4:00pm at the James S. Thalman Chino Hills Branch Library (2003 Grand Ave., Chino Hills 91709). It is recommended for children ages 4-10. Please RSVP to filamlibrary@sbcglobal.net or 213-382-0488.

The children will listen to books dealing with relationships, and then discuss how to create positive relationships. Along with learning Tagalog words, they will make tissue paper flowers and simple kites. Admission is free and donations to FAL are accepted. Snacks and drinks will be provided. This event is co-sponsored by the San Bernardino County Library.
