City Council waits to see what other cities do

Officials from municipalities throughout San Bernardino County are preparing to take sides over a proposed tax-reduction ordinance that could potentially cut into the money they collect from homeowners.

The Chino Hills City Council voted Tuesday night to take a neutral position on the ordinance until more information was available on which cities would be supporting or opposing it, said the city's finance director, Judy Lancaster.
