PMAC Lending Services, Inc. will host its fifth annual golf invitational on Monday, June 23 at 11:00am with a shotgun start at the pristine South Hills Country Club in West Covina. Through its charity golf tournaments, PMAC Lending Services, Inc. in association with Al-Sal Oil Company has raised $207,731 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Last year alone the fourth annual PMAC Golf Invitational raised more than $75,000.
The tournament is a four-man scramble and will include a putting contest, 18 holes of championship golf, lunch, a cocktail reception and hosted dinner as well as a silent and live auction with emcee, UCLA Sports Announcer, Chris Roberts. MDA is a voluntary health agency working to defeat 43 neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive services, and far-reaching professional and public health education. Proceeds benefit local services and programs for more than 6,000 Southern California adults and children affected by neuromuscular diseases by providing funds to participate in MDA's patient-service programs, including free clinics and support groups, and to receive special equipment such as wheelchairs, leg braces and communication devices. Proceeds will also provide funding for international research to find effective treatments and a cure.
