Dear Cyn,
When people don't RSVP to a formal anniversary dinner, what do you do? Do you still include them on the list or simply omit them?
Sally T. - Chino Hills
Dear Sally,
One of my biggest pet peeves is people who don't respond to a requested RSVP! While it is very wrong not to accept or decline an invitation,it is much worse for the hostess to over or under order food, chairs, linens, etc. With that said, you can call your flaky friends on the phone and find out if they are or are not coming. Do yourself the favor of calling. No one has to be embarrassed. Just play it off that you know how busy they are, but you do need to know the head count,etc..etc.
See you in the city,
Cyn
P.S. My first "Where is Cyn in the City" event will be held Monday, March 30th from 5-8 pm. Where? Wait and see....oh yeah.....and when I ask you to kindly RSVP....SAY YES!
