My Gym Children's Fitness Center had its grand opening and ribbon cutting today at 11:45. Representatives from the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce, Councilmember Ed Graham, and a representative from Sentator Bob Margett's office were on hand to welcome the new owners to the community. Mr Graham stated, "Chino Hills is all about families and children" and presented them with a certificate of recognition from the city.
Owners Chris Panganiban and Char Albano opened this location just a few weeks ago and stated that they are very happy to be a part of the community and welcome parents to visit and bring their children by. Ms. Albano stated, "Often parents can't hold on to their kids once they bring them here. The kids just can't wait to go on in and play on the equipment. We make exercise lots of fun for the kids." David Cove, from My Gym's corporate office was also on hand to help the new owners get off to a great start.
The first My Gym store was opened in Santa Monica in 1983. Their philosophy states that physical activity is an absolute necessity if an individual is to reach his/her greatest potential. Since 1983, MY GYM has led the field with innovative methods of teaching skills and making fitness exciting for children.
