Group sends letter to district opposing moving program to Don Lugo

Parents fighting to keep the agriculture program at Chino High School have submitted their own rebuttal letter against the proposal move it to Don Lugo High School.

School district officials have said upgrades to the Don Lugo agriculture program would be more cost-effective than at Chino High School, and that maintenance of a single program at Don Lugo would be less expensive.

Opponents say the district's plan to move all agricultural activities to Don Lugo is unreasonable and requires students to leave the familiar support system of teachers and friends to attend a crosstown rival school.
