Here is my brown, black and cream colored cat ignoring every hiss and finger snap I make just so she could turn around and look at the camera. Nothin doin though. I swear I didn't do anything to warrant a cold furry shoulder. I think she's reading the ingredients on the bag to see if it passes inspection. It was about 4:30 in the afternoon and she's already getting vocal by meowing at me near her food. Sometimes she doesn't even eat and just leaves food out. I think she may be catching mice or something outside in the bushes and that's why she leaves food uneaten. Doesn't happen that often though. I can just hear her saying, "No paparazzi pictures till after I've had my crunchy scrumptious dinner". She gets fed in the garage because other bigger male cats often sneak around, chase her away, and take any morsel of cat food left in the dish.
What I find fascinating is, I can never ever sneak up on her because cats have such great hearing. What's that? And one other thing; since she spends most of her time outside, she has razor sharp claws so I don't make any crazy movements when I pet her on the head, lest I get the swipe of a sharp claw and a bloody lesson learned.
I'd like to get her one of those cat condos to jump around and sleep in for the summer, so if anyone has one they don't want, it would be a nice cat present. Please no condos that are being foreclosed on though.
Next, I'll get a shot of her doing what she does best, lounging on her favorite lawn chair in the backyard.
