Itchy eyes, skin rashes, dizziness and memory loss are common side effects when mold is growing inside the walls of a home.
Linda and Gary Gagnon of Chino Hills have started a new career in removing the irritating fungus from homes after water damage has occurred.
"A lot of people have water damage in their homes or it may be a slow leak and not know about it," said Linda. "When they discover a patch in the drywall, we go inside and find microbial colonies growing inside the walls."
The Gagnons purchased a PuroClean franchise in Chino Hills two years ago after they hired a consultant to help them find the right business match.
