Soroptimists are hosting "Knock Three Times"

Soroptimist International of Chino Hills/Inland Empire, a volunteer organization made of professional women and business owners, is hosting its 2 nd annual Murder Mystery Fundraiser Dinner at the McCoy Equestrian Center on Saturday, November 3rd at 6:00pm. Entitled, "Knock Three Times", the murder mystery transports you to a Prohibition-era Speakeasy in the year 1921. Once inside, participants enjoy a full Italian dinner as they determine who committed the crime. A grand prize will be awarded to the winner, door prizes are awarded throughout the event and silent auction baskets are available to bid on. A girl scout troop from Ayala High School and song leaders from Chino Hills High School will be on hand to serve dinner.

Tickets are $45 and are available by contacting Carol Roddy @ 909-627-4548. Proceeds from the fundraiser are used for programs benefiting women and girls in the Chino Hills/Inland Empire area, such as scholarships and recognition awards for girls involved in community service. www.sichie.org

Update: The club's fundraising efforts, via the Murder Mystery Dinner, generated over $11,000 in profit in 2006-2007. The funds will be used to sponsor the Women's Opportunity Award, the Violet Richardson Award, and other local service projects in the Chino Hills/Inland Empire.
