Every child deserves a chance to be a STAR at school. The City of Chino Hills STARS program is in its third year. STARS stands for "Supplies to Assist "R" Students." There are children in Chino Hills who are unable to afford basic school supplies and backpacks for the 2008/2009 school year. The City of Chino Hills is accepting donations of backpacks and school supplies to benefit boys and girls in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Supply lists are available at the Civic Center Community Building, 2001 Grand Avenue. Donations will be accepted at the McCoy Equestrian & Recreation Center, 14280 Peyton Drive on August 19th between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
