Market opens at 4:30 PM on Wednesday afternoons throughout the summer.

If you are looking for fresh (and often organic) fruits, vegetables, fresh flowers, nuts, honey, spices, beef jerky other assorted goodies, visit the Chino Hills Farmer's Market, every Wednesday night throughout the summer. I visited the first one and found organic strawberries, gourmet olive oil, and several bread and fresh baked pastry items.

This is the second year that the Market is being held in Chino Hills and farmers from all over Southern California participated. It was a bit nippy outside so not as many residents as the merchants would have liked showed up. But I would encourage all residents to take advantage of the chance to support these vendors who come to visit us each Wednesday. It's a special time to get out and see others in the community and to save money on some really special items.

While I was there, I ran into Denise Cattern, Public Information Officer, with the City of Chino Hills. She gave me a quick tour of the newly remodeled Residence Building on the McCoy Property which is an excellent location for parties and even weddings. We checked out the booths and tasted olive oil together.

There was an Italian vendor pastry vendor from Vista that seemed to like Denise's friend Sherry. He wanted to make sure I took a picture of him and her together in front of his "Venezia Fresco". There was also caramel corn and free entertainment. It was a lot of fun and the vegetables were fabulous. Check it out. Wednesday evenings starting at 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM. For additional information, please call McCoy Equestrian & Recreation Center at (909) 548-0868.
