The Vellano country club recently finished a beautiful waterfall pond to greet it's residents. I've been going to a friends house who lives in the private golf course community once a week and everytime I drive by I think about getting a shot of the picturesque falls. So finally on a late Friday afternoon, I took my camera and tripod and set up to take a few shots. But I can never just take one picture, so I framed a variety of different angles before it got too dark.
As the sun goes down in the evening, the camera exposure needs to be longer. This slower exposure does not stop the motion of the water, so the moving water ends up looking smooth as it overflows in circulation from pond to pond. What's nice about the falls is each pool pours into a main pond and features plenty of artificial rocks, blooming foliage, grass and a viewing area you can bring the kiddos. Perfect for pictures for everyone including couples and newlyweds. It's a very soothing picture so thank Vellano for creating the course and another picture perfect landmark for Chino Hills.
