Two Students from Townsend Jr. High and Oak Ridge Elementary Win Science Competition

The winners from Chino Valley Unified are Eugene Laksana, Townsend Junior High and Adam Lopez, Oak Ridge Elementary.

Twenty-two students from San Bernardino County schools advanced to the 57th annual California State Science Fair after receiving top honors at the 2008 Inland Area Science and Engineering Fair at the National Orange Show on April 16. At the state science fair to be held on May 19-20 in Los Angeles, more than 1,000 students in grades 6-12 from 350 schools across the state will compete for awards totaling more than $50,000.
