Amys Farm
Amy's Farm offers tours for groups of 10 or more.

The Chino Valley has a rich history in farming, especially dairy farming. Since the Dairy Preserve has been broken up and 9/11/2001 many dairies have stopped allowing people to tour their facilities. One local farm however, continues to allow people to tour a working farm; Amy's Farm in Chino. Although they are open each day, their hours are limited in the summer and visits are by reservation only.

The farm offers guided tours and depending on the season, children will take a walk through the garden and learn about fruits and vegetables, view a mother cow and learn the "Story of Milk", pet goats and sheep in their petting zoo, feed the pigs vegetables picked from the garden, see chickens, roosters, turkeys, geese, ducks, pigeons, and guinea hens, pet horses, and feed baby cows bottles from their calf nursery. The farm is a complete sensory experience!

The tour costs $5.00 per person and children under 2 years of age are free. They permit 1 free adult per every 10 kids and allow additional adults for $5.00 each. Tour times are 1 to 1 and a half hours depending on size of the group.

Amy's Farm is open Monday through Friday year round and has several tour times that start between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, however *** you must call to make reservations***. They also offer a 10:30 tour on select Saturdays of the month. They are closed on Sundays.

The minimum tour size is 10 paying guests. If you would like to visit, but have less than 10 people, they try to add you onto another small group. The maximum tour size is 60 students

If you have more than 60 students they split you into groups and 2 time slots.

In the month of October, they offer a Pumpkin Tour. At the end of the tour each person gets to pick out one free pumpkin from their pumpkin patch. Their pumpkins are the perfect size for kids and good for carving. The tour costs $7.00 per person. Adults are not required to take pumpkins, and if they choose not to, then their price is $5.00 per person.

Amy's Farm is open every month of the year and is located on the border of Chino & Ontario, 1 block north of the Chino Airport. Their address is 7698 Eucalyptus Ave. Ontario, Ca. 91762 You can get directions from their web site at www.AmysFarm.com.

*** Note: Remember that Amy's Farm is a reservation only farm tour. ***
