Karen and Veronica love working to help the public on a daily basis at Family Healthcare in Chino hills. It has given them the opportunity to help others and give back to those in need.

At Family Healthcare, Dr. Silao is always striving to do whatever he can to help his patients and it has really encouraged those around him to always try to make a difference in people's lives when ever possible. Karen and Veronica are participating in the MDA Chino/Chino Hills Lock Up because they know in today's tough economic market groups like MDA suffer the most. They understand MDA is dedicated to the goal of protecting and helping children through difficult times. These two feel privileged to be part of a foundation like the MDA and their involvement is making a huge difference!

MDA is a voluntary health agency working to defeat 43 neuromuscular diseases through worldwide research, comprehensive services, and far-reaching professional and public health education. Along with MDA's funding of research, MDA maintains more than 200 clinics nationwide, many local support groups and summer camps for kids with muscle-deteriorating diseases.

MDA is the first non-profit organization recognized by the American Medical Association with a Lifetime Achievement Award "for significant and lasting contributions to the health and welfare of humanity." MDA's programs are funded almost entirely by individual private contributors.
