Chino Hills High School is opening its doors to the public Thursday evening with the theatrical production of "Little Women," an adaptation of the novel written by Louisa May Alcott (1868).
The play revolves around the domestic lives of four young girls, Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy March, during the Civil War era. Throughout the production, they grow to care for each other and overcome their personal flaws in spite of their varied personas. The entire production is completely student run, with seniors Christina Benvegnu, Dennis Paulsen, and Jessica Releya as directors and senior Chelsea Oren and junior Marco Ruiz as stage managers. T >>

A great date for less than $100
I got a great deal today. I saw an ad in the Chino Champion that offered a discount on the premier play of Neil Simon's, Barefoot in the Park at the Chino Community Theatre (a discount on the play if you first had dinner at Owen's Bistro on "D" Street). Chino, CA - Aviation in the Movies will be the theme of the monthly special event hosted by Planes of Fame Air Museum at the Chino Airport on Saturday, February 2, 2008.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. with a seminar intended to give the public a behind-the-scenes view of how aviation is portrayed and employed in the movie industry, and conclude with a flight demonstration by an aircraft actually used in motion picture productions. The Kiwanis Club of Chino Hills held its annual Chino Hills Christmas/Holiday Boat Parade on December 22nd and 23rd. There were up to 15 boats in the Parade on Saturday and up to 50 boats in the parade on Sunday.

Hundreds of Locals Showed up to See Santa
The City of Chino Hills Held its Annual Christmas Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at 7:00 PM on Saturday. Hundreds of people showed up to see the lighting, enjoy hot drinks, goodies, and especially to talk to Santa Claus. It appears that Santa Claus now uses a Chino Valley Fire Truck to get around. Chino Hills Annual Boat Parade to Take Place on December 22nd and 23rd.

The Kiwanis Club of Chino Hills will be holding its annual Chino Hills Christmas Boat Parade on Saturday and Sunday evening at 7:00 PM, December 22nd and 23rd. There will be up to 15 boats in the Parade on Saturday and up to 50 boats in the parade on Sunday. The residential parade will be on the 22nd and the main parade will be on the 23rd near the vicinity of Peyton and Grand.

The Planes of Fame Air Museum is an independently operated, non-profit 501(c)(3) aviation museum dedicated to collecting, restoring, displaying, and preserving aircraft and memorabilia for the educational benefit of current and future generations.
